Will listening to classical music make your baby smarter? Many experts seem to think so. Recent research indicates classical music may stimulate the brain in a way that enhances math and science learning. Certain classical music selections have been shown to have a positive effect on the intellectual and creative development of infants and children. While Governor of Georgia, Zell Miller, tried to get state legislators to buy a classical cd or cassette for every newborn baby in the state. They didn't buy into the idea, but record companies are now bringing out classical music albums for babies.
